Už je to tu zase, ICQ nejede

Vše jede ale mam tu min lidi, tak bud to ještě spí nebo nefunguje nekterý ze serveru ICQ.

[1] No právě já se v některém z klientů přihlásím, ale mám prázdný "contact list" :-(

pidgin 2.5.4 mi nesiel, po upgrade na 2.5.5 to zacalo zasa fungovat

Já používám transport od jabbimu a šlape, nová verze pidginu také a v kopete to také šlape. Popravdě jsem ani nezaznamenal že by ICQ nešlo, jen když mi kamarádka psala že se nemůže připojit na ICQ že je ten Pidgin nějakej rozbitej :)

Mam Mirandu 0.7 neco a jede uplne v pohod, ted jsem se zkusmo prihlasil a odhlasil a v poradku. Jediny rozdil ktery jsem zaznamenal je ze mi pres noc neprisla obvykla dava spamu z ruska coz me celkem prekvapilo.

Ja se pripojim, ale nevidim nikoho online a cas od casu vyskoci okynko "remote host closed the connection". Chce to pockat a ono se to rozjede.

50% úspěšnost-přítulce to šlape, u mě nic (Kopete), přihlásím se ale s prázdným contact listem...
Mno, vím proč se stěhuju na jabber. :o)

Vypadá to na servery co obsluhují server side contact listy... Ale jen část, protože pár lidí funguje.

Tak uz se to rozjelo, mam jeden kontakt online.

Nejde o změnu protokolu. Provozovatel pouze změnil seznam klientů, které po identifikaci vykopne.

S následující identifikací fungují všechny verze pidginu, a dokonce i gaim-1.5.0 (pravda, ruský spam každé tři minuty stejně gaim činí nepoužítelným):
{ "ICQBasic", 0x010a, 0x0014, 0x0034, 0x0000, 0x0c18, 0x0000043d, "us", "en", }

Patch a binárky v odkazu.

Od 7:30, kdy jsem vstaval, mi to jede. Pouzivam kopete.

Tak se na to ICQ vyprdni. Jabber funguje a ostatnim to taky casem dojde.

Jsou oni pro Tebe nepostradatelni, nebo Ty pro ne?

[25] Presne tak. Pred dvoma rokmi som mal na Jabberi 7 ludi a na ICQ asi 200. Potom som sa rozhodol, ze ICQ zrusim a rozposlal som vsetkym ludom na ICQ odkaz na tento text - http://gk2.sk/icq.txt . Momentalny stav je, ze na Jabberi mam 90 kontaktov, pricoma asi polovica z nich su ludia, ktori predtym Jabber nemali a zalozili si ho kvoli mojej sprave.

Řekl bych, že mnohem větší katastrofou je dnes popularita skype coby chatovací aplikace.

Já Skype uznávám jen na volání po netu, když nejde nic jiného. Je to prostě tak, že Skype mi funguje kdykoliv a kdekoliv. V reálu ale používám jednoho českého operátora, zrušili jsme linku a naprostá pohoda. Chatování na Skype to je jako ... no nebudu sprostý. Prostě ta aplikace je na telefonování a ne na chat, to je naprostej nesmysl. Docela nepoužitelné, už jsem to zkoušel a nic moc pánové a dámy.

Osobně mám Gajim a naprostá spokojenost. Počet lidí s jabberem mi narůstá, ač jsem si myslel, že s tímto protokolem rychle vyběhnu a pohoda. Mě se prostě líbí ta variabilita jabberu, ale telefonovat se přes něj nedá, jako chatovat na skype. Pravda, na gtalku to jde, ale není to standard, takže zatím pro mě nepoužitelné (myslím jingle)...

Přes velký odpor ale používám i icq transporty a většinou fungují, ale jakmile to zlobí, je to bída... Kdyby AOL věčně nedělal ty změny, ale ono se mu není co divit, když na tom vydělává. Do budoucna to hodlám řešit tak, že na svůj web dám kecálka z jabbim.cz a kdo mě s icq bude chtít kontaktovat, bude muset přes něj. No a pokud mu za to nestojím, nemá ten člověk pro mě cenu. A jak tu někdo psal: Alejuja :-D.

Psi a transport bez problémů ... někde jsem četl, že seznam připravuje Jabber server, ale šlo to nějak do ztracena ... nevíte jak to je? Můj názor je, že jedině to může pomoci Jabberu v té naší republice. Stejně bych chtěl jednou poznat člověka, který může za to, že je tady tak rozšířenej.

[32] Jabber na Seznamu běží, kdo tam má mail má i Jabber účet, teď odzkoušeno na @seznam.cz, nevím jak je na tom post, email a ostatní seznamovské schránky.

ja myslim ze nikdo z nas tady neni tak manipulace schopny aby donutil valnou cast sveho kontakt listu mirgrovat na jiny protokol, osobne se mi pouze podarilo lidi migrovat na jineho klienta, z oficialniho icq na qip nebo mirandu a po roce je muj kontakt list bez jedine buddy zelene kyticky, vsechno jsou to loga alternatinich messengeru. zkousel jsem migraci na jabber, bez uspechu, kontaktum se to nelibilo, nelibila se jim moznost transportu kontaktu, proste to pro ne nebylo pouzitelne, MSN jim pripadalo fajn, ovsem take se nechtelo, prave kvuli obavam ze ztraty kontaktu, v tomhle smeru nic neudelame, pokud icq definitivne neupravi protokol tak, aby sel pouzit pouze s oficialnim klientem(coz snad ani nejde), tak bude situace stale jako ted. a i kdyby k necemu takovemu doslo, tak myslim ze lidi budou radsi ovecky v zelenem stadu, nez-li zkusit novou nepoznanou vec.

taky myslim ze u nas je problem v tom, ze tady lide nic jineho nez ICQ a Skype neznaji, priklad, vlezu na smazparty, chytnu si tam nejakou devuchu a uuuz sbiram kontakt, a ejhle, prvni co z ni vyleze je, ze chce ICQ:-D Fajne ne? Ovsem ta SRACKA jmenem ICQ je rozsirena pouze u nas v CR a v SR, ve svete, myslim tim jako globalni celek, ji az na vyjimky jako my zavrhli. Myslim ze pouzivani ICQ je u nas dano take tim, ze Useri znaji k pouziti only Windows, myslim tim bezne usery, teenager(coz je valna vetsina uzivatelu teto socialni site), kteri sedi u masiny s Windows a pochopitelne s ICQ.

a nejvice mne bavi cist a poslouchat otazky typu "a pojede mi pod mirandou/qip/pid­ginem etc. icq?" tak u toho brecim....bohuzel toto vsechno je dano obecnou nevzdelanosti

Mě jede Kopete bez problému. Ale vím, že několik lidí z mého okolí má problém s pidginem. :)

Jak uz tu nekdo psal, Pidgin 2.5.4 zlobil, ale tusim hned ten den kdy se objevil problem se objevily zdrojaky na 2.5.5. a po zkompilovani(fedora 10) jede tak jak ma.

Ale jestli mluvíte o QIPu, tedy o jeden z nejhorších programů všech dob s osfláklou implementací ICQ protokolu, pak to chápu. Používá se zejména v Rusku, takže možná proto jsem nedostal od žádného Rusáka spam (i když miranda to efektivně zachytává, a dozvím se to jen ze statistik).

Já osobně bych na root.cz navrhnul automat, který by dštil oheň a síru na ICQ, ať to nemusí zabezpečovat fanatici a oběma rukama levýma, jako je autor tohoto článku. Když lživou propagandu proti ICQ, tak s celou automatickou parádou.

Cez pidgin mi nejde ICQ vobec. Updatenut ho nemozem lebo na ubuntu 8.04 som novsiu verziu nenasiel. Presvedcilo ma to aby som ICQ protokol nadobro opustil. Pouzivam ale Facebook plugin na komunikaciu z tymi co nemaju jabber.

[41] Možná jste se místo do hvězd podíval do zrcadla, když jste se o mne snažil něco zjistit, a to Vás vedlo k chybnému závěru o mém fanatizmu a rukách... Obě ruce levé nemám, protokol prostě nefungoval, a i kdybych skákal tři metry do výšky, tak bych jeho okamžité rozjetí neuspíšil. Viz několik dalších příspěvků. A byl bych rád, kdybyste přímo v mém zápisku vyznačil tu propagandu, neboť tam nic takového nevidím.
